Wow! What a stunning release, even if we do say so ourselves!
The fifth in our compiled EP downloads ‘Deep Pressings Vol 5’ (LP114) is surely going to be a classic in our offices, and we’re sure you’ll agree, a firm fixture in your set.
‘SPACE MONKEY’ from the studio of Enrique Vela takes us on a sweet journey with all the right sounds in all the right places. Giving a great production skill and classic synths as well as the 2011 sequences we come to expect nowadays. A nice slice of sampled vocal (not too much and not too little) just to give us the right flavour of what the track is about. Great journey, right tempo – Need I say more... Just play it!
Lucas & Hugo Sanches ‘HOT ROLL’ fulfils the needs of the slip slapping house heads, with it’s quirky tendencies to maintain an interest within the realms of the classic Todd Terry and synonymous with Little Louis Vega. Scattered with some slack percussion and tasty vocal stabs this has prime time behaviour.
Dhaze takes us skipping into the deep with ‘DROP THE LINE’ and follows a nice array of tender loins chunks desperately in need of a position within the ears of the heads down crowd. This will undoubtedly sit nicely in the building sets and fill out those creative sets.
